Memory Doves is a ministry, not a business. It is a calling to share the love of God through His beautiful dove birds, which He created for our enjoyment and as a symbol of peace.

Through each dove release at a celebration of life, my hope is to bring peace, comfort, joy, and hope to every occasion. While dove releases are often part of memorials, weddings, or funerals, the symbolic dove represents something far greater—a one-of-a-kind expression of love, grace, and God’s presence.

Memory Doves was born from a calling placed on the heart in 2005. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the vision was clear: to spread the Gospel, offer comfort, and create sacred moments through the symbolic release of doves. What began as an act of faith has grown into a ministry dedicated to the celebration of life, peace, hope, and remembrance.

The doves themselves are part of a legacy that spans more than sixty years, first acquired by my father. Growing up on a farm in Ohio, caring for these birds became an integral part of daily life. As a child, tending to the doves was not just a responsibility; it was preparation for a greater purpose. Looking back, it is clear that God had a plan for them all along.

At the heart of Memory Doves is faith. Our work is guided by grace and compassion, whether we are celebrating the sacred unity of marriage or honoring a life that has passed. Our dove releases serve as a powerful symbol of the Holy Trinity—God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit—as well as representing peace, the soul’s journey, and God’s everlasting presence during moments of both joy and grief.

We believe in allowing God’s light to shine through every service we provide. Our mission is to share His love, spread joy, and offer comfort when it is needed most. Every release is approached with reverence, care, and profound respect for the families and couples we serve.
